Taylor Swift has opened up in Elle's Women in Music issue and admitted that she hasn't experienced true love yet.
The 25-year-old singer, whose best friend Lena Dunham taught her the most about what to expect from relationships because she has never fallen in love, said that she realized there's this idea of happily ever after which in real life doesn't happen, E! Online reported.
The 'Shake It Off' singer noted that there's no riding off into the sunset, because the camera always keeps rolling in real life, adding that it's magical if you ask anyone who has ever fallen in love, it's the greatest.
Swift added that now she has more of a grasp on the fact that when you're in a state of infatuation and you think everything that person does is perfect, it then, if you're lucky, morphs into a real relationship when you see that that person is not in fact perfect, but you still want to see them every day.
She continued that she has never had that, so she wrote that song about things that Lena has told her about her and Jack Antonoff. That's just basically stuff she's told her and she thinks that that kind of relationship would also be hard as it would also be mundane at times.
