A teenager from US survived the entire journey for five hours by hiding in a wheel well of a flight from California to Hawaii.
A spokesman for Hawaiian Airlines said that the boy came to the notice of the airline staff after the plane landed on Sunday morning.
The boy reportedly ran away from home and jumped over a fence at San Jose airport to become a stowaway on the plane.
The teen was apparently questioned by the FBI and was also given a medical screening.
Rosemary Barnes, spokeswoman of San Jose airport said that they were very thankful that the 16-year-old survived his journey, BBC reported.
An FBI spokesman Tom Simon said that the boy was lucky to be alive.
