A telephone conversation shows complicity betwen Afghan Government officials and electoral in committing vote fraud during the June 14 presidential run off in Afghanistan.
According to reports, the telephone conversation was released by presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah's campaign.
The video recording allegedly includes an unidentified Afghan National Army (ANA) commander and Wardak Province Governor Attaullah Khogyani. The video was released at a press conference and later circulated among journalists.
Abdullah's campaign team provides further proof, whereby it exposes the rival candidate Ashraf Ghani.
The four-minute conversation includes a man Khogyani and an Afghan National Army officer, reports Radio Free Europe Radio Liberty.
Khogyani, who was identified as a Pashtun (largest ethnic group in Afghanistan), supported the presidential candidate Ghani in the telephone conversation and commanded the officer to honour Pashtuns. Khogyani had also asked the army officer to cover the issue.
Presidential candidate Ghani is a Pashtun, while Abdullah is half Pashtun and half Tajik.
In another video, a group of men were seen filling the ballot boxes one night before the second round of Election.
