Ten pilgrims were killed and over 30 injured when a bus carrying them collided with a truck in Pali district of Jodhpur in Rajasthan on Sunday.
The bus was returning from the shrine of Baba Ramdeo near Pokhran village when the accident took place.
Eight people, including the bus driver, died on the spot and two others died en route to the hospital.
Of the injured, 28 passengers were admitted to Bagad Hospital in Pali district while 18 others were admitted to Mathuradas Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur.
Superintendent at Mathuradas Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur, Deepak Sharma, said three patients in critical condition are being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU).
"18 people injured in the accident were sent here; three of them are in a critical condition. The injured include women and children as well," said Sharma.

Reportedly, the accident occurred when the truck driver dozed off while driving. The Pali administration has announced a compensation of 50,000 rupees each for the victims' family from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
There were totally 46 people in the bus including the driver. The driver of the truck is at large.
