Indian cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman have agreed to join the newly constituted advisory committee of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Anurag Thakur, BCCI secretary, tweeted that former Indian players Ganguly, Tendulkar and Laxman would form the all-important committee that would advise the Indian Cricket Board.
According to reports, the trio would give suggestions on the domestic scenario in India and would also advice on the decision on the appointment of the new coach for the Indian cricket team.
It has been speculated that Ganguly could either become the high performance manager, team director or the chief coach of the national cricket team. However, Ganguly or Tendulkar, despite their heavy personal assignments that includes media, are unlikely to be the coach.
