Controversial Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has said that he will take the experience of playing with grand slam champions Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka in the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) to deliver fresh career highs in the 2016 season.

The trio shared a good rapport while playing together for Singapore Slammers in the 2015 edition of the IPTL. They also claimed the title by beating table toppers Indian Aces 26-21 in the summit clash of the tournament.

Kyrgios described the experience of playing alongside Wawrinka and Murray as 'unreal'.

He said that he was pleased that he and the French Open champion were able to put aside their strained relations for the sake of their team.

Kyrgios had sparked controversy in August when he made lewd remarks to Wawrinka during their Montreal Masters match. He was also handed a suspended ban and a fine by the ATP tour for his remark.

The 20-year-old maverick player further said that he wanted to keep improving as an athlete and, therefore, he would work harder to get the best out of him in the upcoming year.
