Thai police have deactivated a bomb that was found in the house of a construction worker in Bangkok, a week after an explosion killed 20 people in the city.
ABC News quoted Kamthorn Aucharoen, commander of the police's explosive ordnance team, as saying that they had received reports of a bomb in Sukhumvit 81, a road off one of Bangkok's main thoroughfares.
He said that he found a wide bomb after they checked the place.
He further said that the bomb has been deactivated and will soon be destroyed.
Police said the trail had gone cold in the hunt for a bomber in Thailand's worst ever bomb attack, and added that they were unsure if the chief suspect was still in the country.
