Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development (HRD) Shashi Tharoor on Sunday recorded his statement with sub divisional magistrate in the case relating to his wife Sunanda Pushkar's death.
According to sources, Tharoor, who recorded his statement with SDM Alok Sharma, is reported to have narrated the whole sequence of events, which took place before Sunanda's death.
Earlier today, Tharoor had written to Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde offering full cooperation in the probe into his wife Sunanda's death.
Tharoor in his letter wrote, "I finally had a chance to catch up with media reports and I am horrified to read the reckless speculation."
Sunanda Pushkar was found dead at Leela hotel in the capital on Friday night.
Her body was cremated on Saturday evening at the Lodhi crematorium in south Delhi.

Earlier on Saturday, Dr. Adarsh of AIIMS called the Sunanda Pushkar's death to be a sudden, unnatural one.
"It looks like an unnatural death, but let the reports come first. We have to see the report of how the body was found, and in what condition," he said.
"From the medical point of view, we can say that she might have died somewhere between 1pm to 7pm," he added.
On questioning if the death might have been a case of murder he said it was very difficult to come to a conclusion at this point of time.
Her death comes two days after the Twitter scandal allegedly involving her, husband Shashi Tharoor and a Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar.
