The Italian villa in the province of Pistoia, in Tuscany, where the author Carlo Lorenzini wrote 'The Adventures of Pinocchio', has been put up for sale for around 25 million dollars.
Jennifer Giraldi, who would be responsible for the estate agents' legal department, said that potential buyers from the United States and France had showed an interest in the estate and hoped that they would understand its emotional, cultural and financial value, CBS News reported.
Pinocchio's five-storey villa has hundred windows, an impressive facade and 40 spacious bedrooms with frescoes, stuccoes, sculptures and paintings by top Italian artists.
The property also features the charming Palazzina d'Estate, by Baroque architects Filippo Juvarra, a Park of Pinocchio which has been opened for public, a farm and little pavilions called Bagnetti at the top of the garden.
