Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, The Dalai Lama has reportedly joined photo-sharing service Instagram.
The spiritual leader's official Twitter account made the announcement, though his first Instagram post was published on February 1st.
According to The Verge, by far, The Dalai Lama has posted 16 photos, including images of him alongside American television and radio host Larry King and US President Barack Obama.
The spiritual leader joined Twitter in 2010, and currently has more than 8.5 million followers and his Instagram account has already garnered about 5,600 followers.
Despite embracing social media like other prominent religious leaders, The Dalai Lama acknowledges the risks involved with services like Facebook and Twitter.
He said that it depends on how one uses these services, if one is confident and has the strength then it is no problem, but if someone's mind is weak and there is more confusion, then one can't blame technology, the report added.
