'The Interview' will hit Netflix on January 24, just 30 days after the film began playing in a limited theater run and was made available for purchase or rental through online services such as YouTube, Google Play and Xbox Video and achieved over 40 million dollars in digital sales.
Sony Pictures originally pulled the movie's Christmas Day release after a massive hack of the company was blamed on North Korea, causing most of the major national movie theater chains to drop the film, Deadline.com reported.
The movie was still released in theaters that agreed to carry it beginning Dec. 25, and was released digitally on Dec. 24.
