Mick Jagger's girlfriend Melanie Hamrick recently gave birth to the couple's first baby together, making the 73-year-old 'The Rolling Stones' frontman a father for the eighth time.
The singer's rep informed, "Melanie Hamrick and Mick Jagger's son was born today in New York and they are both delighted. Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time," reports E! Online.
The name of the couple's baby, however, was not revealed.
Jagger reportedly began his relationship with 30-year-old Hamrick, a professional ballet dancer, in 2014 and have kept it private. His rep announced the ballerina's pregnancy in July.
The British rocker has seven other children- four daughters and three sons aged 18 to 47, with four exes. He also has five grandchildren.
With this fact, the couple's newborn son is already a great-uncle!
Meanwhile, Jagger's band mate Ronnie Wood is also a new dad again. The 69-year-old and wife Sally Humphreys, 38, welcomed twin daughters in May.
