The Paramount and Nickelodeon Movies sequel is doing even better overseas with 26.8 million dollars to-date from 25 territories for an early worldwide total of 82.8 million dollars, Deadline.com reported.
Coming in at No. 2 was 'American Sniper,' the Clint Eastwood-directed flick starring Bradley Cooper, which brought in an additional 24.2 million dollars for a 282.3 million dollars domestic total so far.
Rounding out the top five were Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore's 'Seventh Son,' with 7.1 million dollars earnings and 'Paddington,' starring Nicole Kidman, which earned and 5.4 million dollars.
