The rap pioneer was visiting his mother in Memphis, where he was found dead.
He may have died from a heart attack at the kitchen table, Radar Online reported.
His half-brother DJ Paul told The Hollywood Reporter that he will be remembered as a legend, everybody knew him as a legend, an icon.
