At least three personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) were injured in a militant attack on their convoy early on Wednesday.
According to preliminary reports, the attack on the BSF convoy took place in Samroli in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur District.
The convoy was on its way to Srinagar from jammu, when it was attacked.
Meanwhile in a separate incident on Tuesday, a civilian was injured by firing from across the border in the state's Poonch region. It was the third ceasefire violation by Pakistani border troops in the last 48 hours.
