Three Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers were injured on Tuesday in two separate bomb explosions triggered by Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Kanker and Sukma Districts.
Media reports said one BSF soldier was critically injured in an IED blast triggered by Maoists in the Antagadh area of Kanker District.
The incident occurred this morning when a polling party was returning to the district headquarters. BSF soldiers were providing security cover to the polling party.
In the second incident, Maoists triggered another blast on the Manjhipara Bridge near Kerlapal village in Sukma District this morning, targeting a Border Security Force team.
Two BSF jawans were injured in the incident.
