A new application called Tidy, developed by Covworks, a web and app development company from South Korea, is reportedly capable of organizing photos stored on smartphones, by sorting them into albums by time, distance, or even by shape.

The app offers an interface that lets smartphone users to explore their phone's photo library and select photos that need to be segregated into their own albums using search filters.

The albums in Tidy can be 3 or 4 columns wide, and can also be set in "collage" style.

Once the album is created, you can favorite photos, add memos, or share individual photos via mail, SMS or social media and even move a photo to a different album, set which photo should lead the album, copy photos, or assign them to a Contact, Tech Crunch reported.

Meanwhile, Tidy is planning on adding themes, an album backup and sync service, and support for collaborative albums that one can build with others in its future release.
