U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will be on a four-day visit to Japan, South Korea and China beginning March 15.
This will be Tillerson's first visit as the Secretary of State to East Asia and Pacific region.
During his visit, Secretary Tillerson will be meeting senior officials to discuss bilateral and multilateral issues including strategic coordination to address the advancing nuclear and missile threat from North Korea and reaffirm the administration's commitment to further broaden and enhance the U.S. economic and security interests in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Secretary, who will arrive in Tokyo on March 15, will be in Seoul on March 17 and travel to Beijing on March 18.
