Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Majid Memon on Wednesday said that if Pakistan keeps violating the ceasefire like this, then we need to answer them back.
Talking of continuous ceasefire violations by Pakistan, Memon told ANI, "Inviting Prime Minister of Pakistan on the oath taking ceremony is not helping. It is a very serious issue that needs to be tackled with deep involvement. And if we really want to improve relations with Pakistan then initiative should be taken in that direction."
"Either maintaining all the dignity and honour, we need not bend in front of anybody and find a way out with Pakistan. Or if Pakistan still violates it then we should answer them back equally", he added.
Lieutenant General (Retd.) P.N Hoon had yesterday said that India needs to have an offensive defence as the number of ceasefire violations by Pakistan has increased.
However, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah yesterday said that ceasefire violations have nothing to do with elections or August 15.
There have been a series of ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops in the past two months.
