It's time to get meaner as Tina Fey has recently confirmed the 'Mean Girls' musical is going ahead and she is even close to completing the writing process.

Frey collaborated with her composer husband, Jeff Richmond, to create a full batch of classic, Broadway-style numbers, but they are different from the songs that featured in other musical adaptations of teen hits like 'Bring It On: The Musical,' reports the Independent.

Talking about the plot, Frey said that she has not finished it yet, but it is close to the 2004 original.
