A new low was witnessed in the Lok Sabha today as Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) MPs levelled allegations of abuse and misbehaviour against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Women MPs from the TMC were vociferous over the alleged misbehaviour conducted by two BJP MPs.
TMC MP, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar alleged," We were peacefully protesting inside Lok Sabha, when one drunk BJP MP along with others came and threatened and abused us."
"2 BJP MPs abused and threatened to attack us, I am sure they were drunk," TMC MP Shatabdi Roy said.
Another TMC MP,Kalyan Banerjee also corroborated what his fellow party MPs had alleged. Banerjee said, " BJP MPs threatened us and badly abused our women MPs."
TMC MPs were seen rushing out of the Parliament after the reported scuffle.

Trinamool Congress has decided to stage sit in protest in front of Gandhi Statue tomorrow against alleged misconduct of BJP MPs in Parliament.
The BJP on the other hand denied TMC charges and termed it mere drama, instead charged the TMC MPs shouting slogans against Modi and other BJP leaders.
"This is drama. Rail budget was being presented and TMC workers were raising slogans against PM," BJP MP Jagdambika Pal said.
Earlier today Union Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda presented his maiden Railway Budget where he introduced a slew of reform measures to modernise Indian Railways.
