'Toilets,' the need of the hour, sings Akshay kumar

And the 'Toilet' anthem is here with a social message.

The movie 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' portrays the subject of sanitation and open defecation in India that has been a major problem since decades.

The new song 'Toilet Ka Jugaad' starts with talking about the developments that have taken place around the world - like reaching Mars, moving from black and white to 3D, success in climbing Mt Everest. It further points out that it's high time to build toilets as 54 percent of the Indians still defecates in the open.

The song also highlights the plight of millions of women who are at the risk of being raped every day.

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share the song and wrote, "Swachh Azaadi aise hi nahi milegi, uska jugaad karna hoga. #ToiletKaJugaad."

Sung by Akshay Kumar and Vickey Prasad, 'Toilet Ka Jugaad' is on the same line that of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, giving out a clear message that "we need toilets."

The movie is all set to hit the theatres on August 11.
