Tokyo expo exhibits assistive devices for elderly people

An exhibition was recently held in Tokyo which showcased comprehensive ideas, tools, and devices to support people involved in the nursing and Medicare. Many patrons seemed curious about the recent development of technology in this field.

In general, easy to eat meals is made for the elderly people such as rice porridge, but this usually deteriorates. However, this newly developed meal retains the look of the usual meal along with accommodating the soft texture for the elderly people.

The director of food company stated, "we had developed this ordinary looking meal so that elderly people could still savor eating suitable healthy food."

There is also a karaoke set where elders can sing while exercising. This karaoke set can be enjoyed by all the generations.

The director of the karaoke company informed that the exercising images were developed in collaboration with the university experts. "It would be an absolute pleasure for us if the elderly people have fun with Karaoke and gymnastics while exercising. By doing so, they would stretch out the body parts. These improvements would certainly make the elderly more energetic while expanding their lifespan," the director added.
