Tom Cruise has quit the big screen version of 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' due to a clash of schedules with the 'Mission
The 50-year-old actor, who had been cast as agent Napoleon Solo in the long-awaited film, tweeted a picture of himself as MI agent Ethan Hunt with the caption: "Goodbye U.N.C.L.E., hello E.T.H.A.N," the Mirror reported.
According to the publication, the actor was due to shoot U.N.C.L.E. this autumn before reprising Ethan Hunt, but he was unable to film both because of scheduling changes.
Cruise, who is committed to his top-grossing film franchise, had not signed a final deal for U.N.C.L.E.
