Teasing their fans, Tom Cruise and Jerry Bruckheimer have dropped hints about their highly-anticipated flick 'Top Gun 2.'
Taking to his Twitter handle, the movie's producer Bruckheimer shared a picture with the 53-year-old actor, captioning it as, "Just got back from a weekend in New Orleans to see my old friend @TomCruise and discuss a little Top Gun 2", People magazine reports.
The 'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation' actor retweeted Bruckheimer's message.
It is being said that the fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel to the 1986 classic starring Cruise and Kelly McGillis for years.
However, Skydance CEO David Ellison had officially confirmed the project was happening while promoting 'Terminator Genisys' back in June 2015.
Further details about the upcoming action film have been kept under wraps at this time.
