The Duke And Duchess of Cambridge will lead a tranquil first year as parents, it is being speculated.
It's expected that Kate, Prince William and the baby are going to spend the first few days together in their two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace grounds, the Daily Express reported.
It is believed that Kate is keen to spend some weeks at her parents' home in Berkshire.
It is currently not known how long the Duchess of Cambridge is planning to take off on maternity leave but her diary has been left open until after the New Year.
However, a summer trip to Balmoral is most likely to happen to introduce the baby to other members of the family.
According to tradition, the christening ceremony is going to be held at the Music Room in Buckingham Palace, most probably in early days of autumn.
