U.S. President Donald Trump has asked voters in Georgia to reject the Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff, saying that he would be a 'disaster' in Congress.
Trump said that Ossoff would raise taxes, be bad for jobs, be weak on crime and illegal immigration.
"Democrat Jon Ossoff would be a disaster in Congress. VERY weak on crime and illegal immigration, bad for jobs and wants higher taxes. Say NO," Trump tweeted.
He also asked republicans in Georgia to get out and vote on Tuesday.
"Republicans must get out today and VOTE in Georgia 6. Force runoff and easy win! Dem Ossoff will raise your taxes-very bad on crime & 2nd A," Trump said in a tweet.
The elections in Georgia are being seen as an early indicator of how voters will respond to Trump's presidency.
