President Donald Trump has extended his support to the Central Intelligence Agency during his visit to the headquarters of the CIA in Langley, Virginia.
"There is nobody that feels stronger about the intelligence community and the CIA than Donald Trump. There is nobody," The Washington Post quoted Trump as saying.
"I am so behind you. I know maybe sometimes you haven't gotten the backing that you've wanted and you're going to get so much backing. Maybe you're going to say, 'Please, don't give us so much backing. Mr. President, please, we don't need so much backing," he added.
Reiterating to lead the fight against the Islamic State, Trump said that the country has not used its real potential and asserted to get rid of the ISIS.
Citing his statement on Radical Islamic terrorism yesterday, the President said that it has to be eradicated from the face of the earth as it is an evil.
Trump praised his nominee for CIA director, Mike Pompeo saying that he is a gem.

He told the intelligence officials that they will get a total star in Pompeo.
The Senate is yet to confirm his role as the CIA director.
Trump also asked the officials to applaud his national security adviser, former lieutenant general Michael Flynn.
Trump had repeatedly on many occasions earlier criticised the U.S. intelligence agencies, after their assessment that Russia used cyber attacks to try to interfere in the election to favor his candidacy.
