Ahead of an interview, the White House made it clear that U.S. President Donald Trump would not answer any questions regarding Russia or wiretapping matter, local news station in Louisville, Kentucky, announced on air.
WDRB interviewed the President after his event in Louisville on Monday evening.
Earlier on Monday, the White House stood its ground even after FBI Director James Comey confirmed the bureau is probing possible links between the Russian Government and Trump campaign associates as well as knocked down President Donald Trump's wiretapping allegations.
Lawrence Smith, who interviewed the President, told CNN that the White House did make it clear the President would not answer questions about wiretapping or the investigation into Russia's role in the election.
However, another station that interviewed Trump during his visit told CNN's KFile that the White House did not set such restrictions or parameters prior to their interview.
"Fox19 Now was never given parameters leading up to the interview," CNN quoted Fox19 News Director Steve Hyvonen as saying.
However, no questions were put up before Trump regarding Russia or his wiretapping claims in Fox 19 interview.
