Pakistan Defence Minister Khwaja Asif has said that the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leaders were busy hatching conspiracies to destabilise Islamabad with India's help.
Asif said that Pakistan had no objections to the Iranian port of Chahbahar but Iran must consider the bad design of India towards Islamabad.
He said that India had not accepted the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as the project was moving ahead smoothly.
Asif said the country will continue its efforts to establish a durable peace in Afghanistan and intend to establish friendly ties with other neighbours.
Asif, who was speaking at the local press club after administering the oath to the elected office bearers, said the US drone attack killing the Taliban chief in Balochistan was not the failure of Pakistan's foreign policy, adding the country's defence was in strong hands.
The Defence Minister further said that the drone attack had affected the ongoing peace efforts in Afghanistan.

Asif added that even though the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leaders had havens in Afghanistan but no international power, including the US, was ready to take action against them.
The Defence Minister said Pakistan had some other options after the US had refused to sell F-16 planes to the country.
Asif said the international powers were providing weapons to India ignoring the interests of Pakistan.
Pakistan's internal security was getting better day by day and the armed forces had eradicated terrorism through the Zarb-i-Azb operation, added Asif.
