Former 'X Factor' judge Tulisa Contostavlos has reportedly raised the white flag in defeat in her court battle against former boyfriend for leaking their private sex tape online.
The 24-year-old star, who did not get a single penny out of former beau Justin Edwards' pocket, is apparently stuck with an estimated legal bill of 270,000 pounds, the Sun reported.
The 'N-Dubz' band member finally gave up on the court case to avoid racking up even more lawyers' fees, with one of her lawyer's charging 425-pound-an-hour to work on her case.
By settling her case, Tulisa avoided an estimated total bill of 806,000 pounds, with little prospect or no of recovering the cash.
The singer also accused five other men, including the 'Spice Girls' creator Chris Herbert, of plotting to cash in on the clip, but they did not have to cough up any money either.
The six minute film that shows Tulisa, who was arrested by cops on Tuesday on suspicion of supplying cocaine, and Edwards romping in an 'N-Dubz' changing room was available for download on a website in March 2012 for 3.96 pounds.
