A Delhi Court today sent Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist Abdul Karim Tunda to judicial custody for 14 days.

Tunda was yesterday admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for special cardiac care.

The LeT terrorist was earlier on Tuesday sent to four days police custody in connection with 37 bomb blast cases across the country.

Tunda, who was captured by the Delhi Police last week, was earlier on Tuesday slapped at Patiala House court here. The incident reportedly occurred when the Delhi Police produced Tunda in court to seek an extension of his custody for further questioning.

Delhi Police had arrested Abdul Karim Tunda, one of the "most wanted" terrorists in India, on August 16 from the India-Nepal Border.

Tunda was born in Delhi and later shifted to Pilakhuan, a village in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad District. Tunda turned into a Jehadi militant at the age of 40. He is said to have had a role in the 1993 Bombay blasts as well as in bomb explosion incidents in Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Sonepat, Panipat and Surat.
