Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said that the country would soon launch a "comprehensive battle" against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
According to the BBC, Cavusoglu said that US warplanes and drones were now arriving at Turkish airbases.
Last month Turkey launched its first strikes on the militants since the group began its advance through Iraq and Syria in 2013.
Syria said that any military activity that is not-coordinated with Damascus will breach its sovereignty.
