Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has vowed to boost the security along the border with Syria, following a bombing in the town of Suruc that killed 30 people.
According to BBC, it is believed that the blast was caused by a female suicide bomber belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), said investigators.
Turkey is now cracking down on militants after previously ignoring them, according to reports.
The blast triggered violent protest in Istanbul, with police using water cannon, teargas and rubber bullets.
Friday's bomb hit a group of youth activists planning to cross into Syria to help rebuild the town of Kobane.
