TV naturalist Sir David Attenborough has confessed that he cheated on one of his school biology test when he was a 17-year-old student at Wyggeston Grammar School, Leicester.
The British broadcaster explained that he and his fellow pupils knew that the subject of the practical part of the biology exam was to be either a rabbit, a dogfish, a crayfish, a frog or an earthworm, and since it was at the time of the war they used to eat rabbits and dogfish, so it was not going to be them, the Daily Express reported.
Attenborough, 87, continued saying that there was not much to earthworms, so he figured it would be a crayfish or a frog.
Then one day, the caretaker accidently left a metal tin can, titled 'zoology practical', in the room and he picked it up and when it rattled, he knew it was crayfish.
Then he told all the other boys and they all passed with flying colors that really impressed their teacher, who dubbed their class the "most brilliant batch".
