Twitter co-founder has reportedly suggested business ideas to social media giant Facebook to charge users a premium if they want to have an 'ad-free' version of the site.
According to Mashable, co-founder Biz Stone has said that since the Facebook ads are not 'particularly useful or engaging', the site should rather offer a premium option that would let users pay 10 dollars a month to have the site's 'ad-free version'.
Stone further said that for 10 dollars-a- month, people who really love Facebook and can afford to pay could see no ads along with some special features and if 10 percent of Facebook is signed up, it would account for one billion a month in revenue, the report added.
