Two persons, including the pilot, have been killed in a helicopter crash at Garurchatti in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag District today.
According to the police, a technician on board the chopper was killed in the crash that took place when the helicopter, belonging to a private company, was taking off from Garurchatti for Kedarnath area.
At least 20 people were killed earlier on June 25 as the IAF Mi-17 crashed north of Gaurikund while returning from a rescue mission from Guptkashi and Kedarnath in flood-ravaged Uttarakhand.
A private helicopter carrying relief materials for the rain-affected people in Rudraprayag district had crashed on June 21 near Gaurikund leaving the pilot injured.
