Sydney's Marouba Beach witnessed a tragedy on Tuesday, when it was reported that two Nepali students had drowned.
The Kathmandu Post quoted local police, as saying that the body of one of the Nepali students has been found, while the body of the second student is still missing.
Australian news agencies reported a jogger had discovered the body of a girl and had reported to police early on Tuesday.
The girl has been identified as 23-year-old Shristi Bhandari, a resident of Kathmandu.
The missing person missing is said to be Sudip Upreti, 25, of Nepal's Jhapa district.
Australian rescue personnel are still searching for Upreti and are being hampered by poor weather and visibility.
