Authorities produced two suspected operatives of Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) before a court here on Saturday and were remanded to police custody till August 12.
Delhi Police had arrested suspected LeT operatives Abdul Subhan and his aide Asahbuddin on July 20 for their alleged role in conspiring terror attacks in Delhi and other areas.
They were produced before the court today after their remand expired and Delhi police sought the extension of their custody.
A native of Mewat District in Haryana, 42-year-old Subhan was in touch with LeT operatives in Pakistan and was planning to kidnap some top corporates and use the ransom money for conducting terror activities.
