Retired US boxing champion Mike Tyson has reportedly accused controversial NBA legend Dennis Rodman of 'treason' after the 'colourful' former basketball player seemed to defend North Korea while there for an exhibition game with several former NBA players.

Tyson was promoting The Undisputed Truth, his one-man show, which is heading to Atlantic City on January 25th, and mentioned that he had received a positive response including requests from overseas, although he ruled out North Korea.

According to News.com.au, Tyson weighed into the controversy surrounding Rodman's friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and did not hold back any punches, saying that Rodman has committed 'treason' as he is 'talking expletive' on US while on 'enemy land'.

Tyson further said that Rodman might probably be arrested when he gets back to US, adding that he also could not believe that former NBA star Charles Smith would also be involved with the issue, unless it was something advantageous for him.

Tyson also said that Rodman put the other retired players in a bad predicament, as they might never get a job and might never be involved with NBA again, when they return.
