The United States has approved a 75 million dollars sale of equipment needed for military exercises with the United Arab Emirates.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced this in a press release on Monday.
The release noted that the proposed sale contributes to the foreign policy and national security of the United States by improving the UAE's ability to employ its fighter aircraft in multi-country coalition exercises.
The UAE is a US coalition partner in the fight against the IS terrorist group and Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
