The United States has asked China for help in fighting against North Korea that allegedly launched a cyber attack into Sony Pictures, said a senior administration official.
The official said that the matter has been discussed with the Chinese authorities to share information and ask for the country's cooperation, reported CNN.
Both the countries agreed that conducting destructive attacks in cyberspace is against the rules of cyber behavior, said the official.
President Barack Obama said earlier that there was no indication that says that North Korea was acting in conjunction with another country.
The U.S. linked the cyber attack to North Korea on Friday after sensitive studio information was publicly released.
