The development in this regard came a day after the verdict of the Maharashtra Assembly polls. The Shiv Sena, which finished second in Maharashtra with 63 seats, had earlier in an editorial in its party mouthpiece 'Samna' said that there was no wave for any party in the state.
"There is no clear mandate for any one party but we congratulate those who are blowing their trumpets in celebration," the Shiv Sena said in its editorial with strong messages for its former ally.
