Australia's odds to regain the Ashes by whitewashing England have tumbled dramatically following their devastating victory in Adelaide, according to reports.
According to Metro.co.uk, Michael Clarke's team were a whopping 50/1 with Ladbrokes to win the series 5-0 before a ball was bowled in the first Test at The Gabba.
However, following their win in Adelaide, they are now just a 7/2 chance to win every Test in what is developing into an extremely one-sided affair, the report said.
After another comprehensive win the home side has seen their odds of winning the Ashes priced at just 1/12, leaving England with a near impossible task of winning it at 25/1, the report added.
Ladbrokes are now looking ahead to the return Ashes in 2015 and expect Cook (1/10), Root (1/10), Bell (1/8) and Pietersen (1/2) all to start the first Test, but it looks like Carberry will be a one-time Ashes wonder as it's a 3/1 shot he makes the starting XI, the report further said.
