The UK's Department for International Trade (DIT) is bringing together a delegation of Indian oil and gas organisations at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE Offshore) Europe in Aberdeen in the UK from September 5 to September 8.
DIT India is organising a session on the opportunities in the India's Oil and Gas Sector on September 5. The session will enable the Indian delegation to interact with leading British exploration and production companies, world-class technology providers and specialist technical services companies.
"We're bringing together British investors and export-ready companies with the visiting Indian delegation to look at opportunities for commercial partnerships across investment, services, technology and skills," said head of Trade and Investment at Andy Barr, the British High Commission, New Delhi.
The delegation will also visit high-end manufacturing facilities and meet with UK organisations such as GE Oil and Gas, Expro, Robert Gordon University, SMD.
Earlier, British Secretary of State for Energy Greg Clark and Indian Minister for Oil and Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan collaborated in the oil and gas sector at the first ever UK-India Ministerial Energy for Growth Dialogue in April 2017.
The SPE Offshore Europe hosted technical sessions, conferences, workshops, exhibitions from global industry players across the value chain and brought together members engaged in energy resources development and production.
