Uma Thurman has explained the reason why she rarely smiles on the red carpet saying that she was traumatized about her physical appearance after a childhood incident involving her pearly whites.
The American actress revealed in a recent interview that when she was 10-years-old, someone told her that she had an ugly smile and she spent the whole of her younger years feeling embarrassed and never smiling with her mouth open, Us Magazine reported.
The 'Kill Bill' star added that they all lose their looks as they get older and there' was a beauty to older people that was just different to the beauty of younger people.
