Everton has retained their unbeaten run of success in the Premier League as they moved up to fourth in the rankings with a 3-2 win over Newcastle United at Goodison Park on Monday.
Everton forward Romelu Lukaku, who had come on loan from Chelsea on transfer deadline day, marked his home debut with a double-strike, which along with Ross Barkley's strike, set up a 3-0 lead for Everton before the break.
According to Sport24, although Yohan Cabaye and Loic Remy scored for Newcastle in the second half, they had left it too late to score a remarkable revival.
Everton remain unbeaten after six matches and their third win of the season lifts them into fourth place, the report added.
