An impressive innings by young Indian all-rounder Karun Nair has steered the Rajasthan Royals to a comfortable seven-wicket win over Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium at Delhi on Saturday.
The win was Rajasthan's fourth from six matches, while struggling hosts Delhi remain second from bottom of the standings with four points.
According to Gulf News, the Karnataka player was unbeaten on 73 from 50 balls, which included eight fours and two sixes as the Royals chased down a target of 153 with nine balls to spare.
Sanju Samson, who hit 34 from 28 balls, and captain Shane Watson, who hit two sixes in a late cameo of 16 not out, also gave good support to Nair's innings.
Meanwhile, the report mentioned that Quinton de Kock of South Africa was the top scorer for the Daredevils with 43 in a total of 152 for five, while his compatriot JP Duminy contributed 39 towards the end.
