A United Airlines flight was forced to divert from its route and make an emergency landing after its pilot suffered a fatal heart attack on board.
The plane was carrying 161 passengers from Texas to Washington, but was diverted to Idaho on Thursday evening, when Pilot Henry Skillern fell seriously ill and an emergency landing was called, the BBC reports.
According to the report, passengers on board, who had medical training, attempted to save pilot's life prior to landing.
The 63-year-old airline employee later died in a local hospital, the report added.
