The United States and China have ended annual negotiations with some success on financial issues while differences on cyber-spying officially remain unresolved.

US Secretary of State John Kerry said that the US and China should work together to reform and implement a "shared understanding of appropriate state behaviour in cyberspace", Euronews reported.

He also said that China agreed to work with the US to complete a code of conduct in the matter of cyber activities.

China's Vice Premier Wang Yang said that the nation "reaffirms its principled positions on Taiwan, Tibet, maritime and cyber security".

China also stresses on the need for the US to handle differences in sensitive issues with caution and to accommodate and respect China's interests and needs, said the Vice Premier.
